Acia....The New Super Food



I truly believe beauty is reflected from the inside out. Think about it. If your feeling sick, maybe suffering from a cold, you may not look you’re your best on the outside. The same is true regarding the foods we eat. Constantly consuming greasy foods will reveal a dull complexion. This is why I try to eat foods that are rich in nutrients and vitamins. Lately I’ve been hearing a lot about the health benefits of acai berries. This berry seemed to pop onto the shelves of American markets out of nowhere. So I decided to conduct some investigative research of my own.

Acia berries, pronounced ah-sigh-ee, are indigenous to Brazils Amazon rain forest. This berry is considered one of the top super foods because it is loaded with antioxidants, anthocyanins, amino acids, essential omegas, fiber and protein. It has even been coined one of nature’s most complete foods.
