Boxing Day

Did you know the day after Christmas is a national day of observance in countries like Candada, England and the British West Indies? I recently discovered the holiday dates back to the middle ages and its also known as the feast of St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr. The tradition involved giving boxes of fruits and clothing to servants. Today Boxing Day is a festive day and time to gather with friends and family. How did you spend the day after Christmas?

Happy Boxing Day.
